In 2009, Dragon Explorer Unit visited The Gambia to commence the process of creating a link to the Gambia Scouts with Hornchurch Scout District.

 GHISP was created and a trips to visit The Gambia in 2014 and 2018 were undertaken.The GHISP (pronounced like ‘crisp’) was created: Our project goals are below and on our 2024 Expedition we are aiming to build more facillities at the Scout HQ, deliver community projects and build greater partnerships in one of the most challenging times. We really appreciate peoples support and donations.
